Romans 6:10 `For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.'
There
is no question of the Power of Jesus Christ. Our Lord overcame the sting of
death. His Precious Blood redeems even the most unspeakable of sins. Yet there
is an odd place of vulnerability in Christ: His people-His body. We may not
be able to crucify God, but how many times have we crucified a part of His
body with verbal attacks and intentional strikes on our brothers and sisters?
"Lord Jesus, help us to see and remember before we strike out at a fellow
believer in anger that we are ultimately striking out in anger against You.
Purify our hearts so that we may build each other up, strengthening Your body,
and bringing pleasure and glory unto You. Fill us with Your understanding
and love. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen."
